Italian Meatball Sandwich

  • 2 cups ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs or 1 slice bread
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 4 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil and oregano
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • mozzarella cheese
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • bread roll / burger bun
  1. Combine the ground beef, onion, garlic, oregano, bread crumbs, and milk. Add salt and pepper, mix well. Form the meat mixture into 1.5 inch ball
  2. On a pan drizzle some olive oil, add the meat balls. Cook until golden brown.
  3. Place the meatballs into baking dish. Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs. Top with mozzarella cheese. Put into the oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese melted.
  4. Cut the bun into half, put the baked meatballs, add some basil leaves.
