Kimchi Pancake (Kimchijeon)


  • 1 cups kimchi, chopped
  • 4 tbsp kimchi juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • olive oil
  • salt to taste

Mix the kimchi, kimchi juice, garlic, green onion, flour, sugar, salt, and water. Stir until form a thick batter. On medium heat, pour the batter onto a pan that already greased with olive oil. Spread the batter, make a thin round pancake. Flip once it becomes crisp. Cook the other side until done. Cut into pieces.
