Tempeh Patty Sandwich

  • 2 cup tempeh, steamed, mashed
  • 2 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 small egg
  • salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients, mix well. Shape into a patty. Put into freezer for few hours. Pan fry the patty on a pan that already greased with a little olive oil. It goes well for sandwich with Basil Yogurt Spread.

# Vegan version replace the egg with flax egg by mixing 1 tbsp ground flax seed with 3 tbsp water, let it sit for 10 minutes.
