Homemade Marinara Sauce


Ingredients:
  • 5 fresh tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup fresh herbs (basil and / or italian parsley)
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp dried marjoram
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp preferred sweetener
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • pink salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Blanch the tomatoes, then peel it, chop into pieces. Saute the onion and garlic with olive oil until translucent. Add the rest of ingredients, cook until the tomato soften and the sauce get thicken. You can blend it with stick blender or just keep it rustic
