Rolled Omelette: Gyeranmari (unsweetened Tamagoyaki)

Gyeranmari is korean rolled omelette. Tamagoyaki is a sweet japanese rolled omelette. Both are almost the same, but the japanese one is sweet. I prefer gyeranmari, yes the korean version as I don't like sweet omelette. It's cute for bento lunch box and actually it's pretty easy to make. You can check my Instagram or Youtube for the video.

  • 3 eggs
  • horenso or spinach
  • tiny diced carrot
  • 1 tbsp of water
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
Beat the egg, add water, salt and pepper, mix. Set the heat on medium-low. Make a thin omelette on a pan by pouring a quarter of the egg mixture, put the horenso leaves on the omelette. Roll the omelette, bring it to the corner of the pan. Add another quarter of egg mixture, add the horenso, and roll again starting from the first roll that made earlier. Repeat until done. You can check my video on Instagram about how to make Gyeranmari / Tamagoyaki or you can also check out my Rolled Omelette video on Youtube.
