Resep Carrot Cake (Recipe) with Cream Cheese Frosting



Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar / brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup oil / melted butter
  • a pinch of salt
  • ground cinnamon to taste
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup grated carrot

Directions:
  1. Combine flour, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda
  2. Mix the eggs, sugar, and coconut sugar until pale
  3. Add in oil
  4. Throw in the dry ingredients and grated carrot, fold the batter until combined
  5. Bake in a preheated oven 220C for about 30 minutes

Cream Cheese Frosting:
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar or more if you prefer it sweeter
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • salt to taste
Whip the butter and cream cheese with a mixer until creamy, finally fold in the rest ingredients
