Garlic Asparagus Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  • 2 slices bread of your choice
  • 1-2 clove garlic, minced
  • 5-7 stems of asparagus
  • mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt if needed

  1. On a pan saute the garlic and asparagus, add salt if needed. Cook the asparagus for about 1-2 minutes on medium (I used baby asparagus), you may need longer for the regular one
  2. On a plate, arrange the bread, cheese, and sauteed asparagus, spread the butter on the outside of the bread
  3. Grill the sandwich on pan using low heat until golden brown
