Miyagi Gandaria City - Fine Japanese Cuisine

Miyagi Gandaria City: Fine Japanese Cuisine at Affordable Price

One of a shopping mall that I visit quiet often, Gandaria City. Another one from Arena Corp, group of Penang Bistro, Seribu Rasa, Hong Kong Cafe, it's Miyagi Fine Japanese Cuisine. The idea is to serve fine Japanese cuisine but in affordable price, so that everyone can enjoy scrumptious sushi. Take a place at the mainstreet Ground floor, represent it to be an up-line restaurant. Divided into four seating areas: front alley, main dining room, sushi-bar, and the other one is inside with bright light from the windows. OK, so shall we start with sashimi?

Sashimi Chirasi Don - assorted sashimi over steamed white rice, it has sliced tuna, salmon, prawn, crab stick, and mushroom.

Sashimi Shake (Salmon) - do you agree me if cooked salmon is most likely fishy than the raw one? Well, some of people are afraid in eating sashimi because they think that it must be fishy. In fact, if it's fresh, it won't be fishy at all.

Sashimi Maguro (Tuna), delicate sliced of pink tuna best to be dipped in shoyu, do not forget the wasabi. When eating raw fish, wasabi is a must condiment because people said that it's effective in suppressing microbes and bacteria that can cause poisoning.

Hamachi Kama Shio - yellow tail grilled with salt. Gindara Mentaiyaki - grilled cod fish with cod roe sauce. Both were lovely, but the grilled cod got me. Tangy cod roe sauce is one under the spotlight, well-matched the grilled cod.

Miyagi Maki - egg omelette with cheese homemade sauce, salty and savoury sushi roll with egg and crab stick in it. I believe that it suites to everyone's tongue.

Spicy Baked Salmon Maki - salmon, crunchy tempura, chili oil, and mayonaise. The presentation was very nice, even better it was really tasty. Combination of baked salmon and crunchy tempura flakes inside of nori-rice roll that coated with green tobiko (flying fish roe).

Gyuniku Aburi Maki - half grilled beef roll, onion, and tonkatsu sauce. This one is the winner for me though most of friends did not like it because it has pickled radish in it. See, my taste bud is pretty unique and must say that it can accept pretty much anything.

In general the Miyagi Maki and Baked Salmon Maki are everyone's favorite. Foods are impressive, good service, with affordable price. You could never go wrong with their sushi. Conclusion, it's one to put on your list.
