Fries with Cheese Sauce

Will you agree me if this is the best combination? Well, you need to try it first! Thick cut potato fries with savoury cheese sauce and crispy bacon on top!! It also works with thinly sliced sausage, beef bacon, or even turkey bacon. The important thing is the sauce, so make sure you use your favorite one or the combination of your preference. I did mine with red cheddar and mozzarella, sometimes I also like to add parmesan.

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 2 cup milk or more
  • 1 cup grated red cheddar cheese or any of your favorite
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella
  • 2-3 tbsp parmesan (optional)
In a sauce pan, melt the butter. Add in the flour, stir. Pour the milk into the mixture. When it's well combined, add in the cheese. Cook until the cheese melt and the sauce is thickened

* Alternatively you can use my Béchamel Sauce recipe, and add your favorite cheese.
