Nutri Sari W'Dank: Bajigur

I still remember when I was a kid, I used to drink 'bajigur' that usually available at street food stall or vendor carts that moving around village or residence. It's hardly to find 'bajigur' nowadays. Bajigur is a traditional hot and sweet beverage from West Java, the main ingredients are coconut milk and Aren sugar. This drink is usually accompanied with steamed sweet potato, banana, or peanuts.

After years, finally I had a cup of bajigur last week when attending Nutri Sari W'Dank Blogger Luncheon. I brought home some of the W'Dank and it was nice that I can enjoy my bajigur at home with traditional bread called 'roti gambang'. Nutri Sari W'Dank series also offer some other flavor such as Sari Jahe (sweet ginger beverage), Pletok ala Betawi, and Sarabba, a typical beverage from Makassar but my favorite is W'Dank Bajigur.

Yes, things get easier these days, with a sachet of W'Dank Bajigur and 150ml hot water, you'll get a cup of comforting beverage. And it's quite affordable too, with IDR 8000 you will get a box of W'Dank that consist of 4 sachets.
