Microwave Mug Cake

  • 1 medium egg
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 3 tbsp gluten free flour, you can use buckwheat or cassava flour
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder or carob
  • 3 tbsp preferred liquid sweetener, you can use honey, agave, or coconut nectar
  • 3 tbsp almond milk or milk
  • few drops of vanilla extract
  • a pinch of baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
In a mug combine all ingredients, mix well. Microwave for 1 minutes (15 secs additional if needed). Enjoy!

Feel free to modify the ingredients, if you don't have gluten free flour use all purpose flour. Last time I made melted dark chocolate instead of cacao powder. You can also substitute the almond milk with regular milk if you don't have it.
